Elevate your independent living with new Aspire Hub Services: In-Home Support

January 29, 2024

In-Home Support

Aspire Hub’s new In-Home Supports, or ‘drop-in-supports’ are a game-changer for NDIS participants and those looking for a Disability Support Perth service. Delivered in the comfort of your home, this drop-in support is ideal for participants who don’t require full-time assistance but need assistance completing daily tasks.

Aspire Hub Services now includes in-home support. This new support offers the perfect balance of having someone around when you need them, while still maintaining your independence and enjoying your own space.

What is included?

In-Home Support offers flexible support when and where you need it. Whether it’s helping with household chores like housekeeping or providing day-to-day guidance and support with shopping, meal planning, or personal care, the Aspire Hub team is skilled at adapting to your needs and can help with a range of day-to-day assistance and care.

Recreational and personal development is also included in drop-in support, so you can explore your community, meet new people and enjoy life to the fullest.

Aspire Hub’s drop-in-support team isn’t just about helping—they’re all about fostering a sense of belonging and helping you live the life you choose, from friendly chats to organising exciting events, the team is passionate about connection and helping you reach your goals.

How does it work?

One of the best parts of In-Home Support is that you can choose exactly when, where, and how you receive support, so it doesn’t matter whether you live in your own home, live with friends, or in an NDIS home.

This support can be funded under the Core Support category in an NDIS plan, and we’ll work with you to ensure you receive as much or as little support as you need. If you do need assistance reading or accessing your NDIS plan, you can reach out to us here.

Is it for carers?

This drop-in-service is delivered by Aspire Hub’s friendly team members, meaning primary carers, friends or family members can have a break and focus on their needs, while an NDIS participant can continue to receive the support and care they need. Aspire Hub’s team are all qualified and fully trained carers so your loved one will always be in safe hands.

What’s the difference between In-Home Support and SIL?

SIL is 24-hour support, 7 days a week, while drop-in support is delivered to a participant’s own home when and wherever they need for up to several hours a day. Drop-in support can be delivered in a participant’s own home and can be a great Disability Support Perth option for those with low to medium needs.
