SIL accommodation in Archerfield

Imagine a place where independence isn’t just encouraged; it’s celebrated! Aspire Hub’s SIL Accommodation Australia, located in southeast Queensland’s Darra and Archerfield, offers a warm and inclusive environment where residents are not just occupants but active participants in their community.

You’ll find one of Aspire Hub’s innovative new supported accommodation at 9-11 Gladstone St, Archerfield. These homes have been purpose-built for NDIS participants receiving in-home, ILO and SIL supports, with dedicated spaces that allow you to enjoy privacy and independence, as well as the best bits of community living.

Archerfield Accommodation

Our innovative property features:

· 10 self-contained residences, each with its own bedroom, ensuite, living room and kitchenette

· Common kitchen and dining for social catchups

· Dedicated living quarters for carers

· Shared laundry

· Numerous courtyard spaces

Aspire Hub’s co-founder, Cherryl Joseph, says the homes have been designed to ensure you never feel isolated or disconnected.

“Residents at our Archerfield accommodation have all the privacy and independence they need, with their own accessible self-contained units,” Cherryl said. “But at the same time, they can catch up with their neighbours for a chat or hang out with their family or new-found friends in the shared living spaces.”

Jayden- NDIS Participant

Jayden, 18 years old, is one of the NDIS participants and Aspire Hub client who is enjoying her home at one of these new residences, and says living in the space has improved her quality of life.

“Aspire Hub is giving me independence back. I like being able to talk to people so I enjoy having that constant companionship,” Jayden said. “Because of all the support there, everyone’s great and you get to deal with amazing people. The Aspire Hub team has been fantastic, honestly, they’re like mates.”

Breaking free with SIL Accommodation Australia

What exactly is shared independent living? Unique to other types of NDIS accommodation, these new shared independent living options empower participants with disabilities to break free from traditional support models.

“It’s about providing quality NDIS housing…but also providing a lifestyle for our clients, where there is a sense of community, choice and autonomy,” Cherryl said.

“At Aspire Hub, we pride ourselves on being a real trailblazer in the disability support sector and understand that true independence is achieved when individuals have the freedom to shape their lives and build connections.”

Privacy redefined: Your sanctuary within Aspire Hub’s SIL

These self-contained units aren’t just rooms; they’re sanctuaries. A personalised space where you can retreat, recharge, and enjoy your independence. Complete with all the amenities needed for a comfortable lifestyle, you can kick up your feet and watch TV, make a meal, or read a book and enjoy your own time, your way.

These homes feature special communal areas, including courtyards, a shared kitchen and dining area, and a shared laundry, so you can step out and into a tight-knit community where neighbours become friends. Pull up a chair and enjoy a shared meal with another participant or take a seat in the sunshine and simply zen out together – the choice is yours!
