What is Bright Futures?

Bright Futures is Aspire Hub’s disability day program, operating from two hubs in South East Queensland — Beenleigh and Silkstone, Ipswich.

The program focuses on real-world experiences, skill-building and community connection, with activities designed around each participant’s interests, goals and abilities.

Bright Futures is open to people with or without NDIS funding, making it an option for individuals who want to get involved in a structured day program and build their skills, independence and community connections.

What funding covers Bright Futures?

For participants using NDIS funding, Bright Futures may be funded through Core Supports or Capacity Building Supports, depending on the participant’s plan and the activities or supports being provided.

The specific funding available will depend on the individual’s NDIS plan and circumstances. If you’re unsure whether your funding can be used for the Bright Futures disability day program, our team can talk you through your options.

Bright Futures is also available to people who don’t have NDIS funding, with private payment options available.

4. Arrange a visit

We can arrange an initial visit so the participant can see the hub, meet the team and get a better understanding of what Bright Futures offers.

5. Get started

Once everything is organised, we’ll help you get started with the Bright Futures calendar and find activities that suit the participant.

What happens after I enrol?

Once you’re enrolled, our team will work with you to understand what the you wants to get out of the program and identify activities that align with your interests and goals.

Bright Futures provides opportunities to build practical skills, participate in the community, develop independence and connect with others.
